In the news nowadays, as we read on social media. There are issues of #JunkTerrorBill #ABSCBN etc. Most of it raises our blood pressure and sometimes even when we are calm, resides in our minds and it seems like pain that stays in our head, especially the influential people we watch, read their posts, expressing their thoughts in social media. They are considered pillars of industry in the field of film, politics, and much more.

So I ask myself, is this the current era where if you want to offend someone, it is very easy to post on social media, you have thoughts against the government policy, you are free to charge and say everything, then when banned, will just defend the press freedom, freedom to express oneself?

antiterrorbill

Yes I am there, as a person and as a Filipino, we have the freedom of speech, of expression, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and petition the government for redress of grievances [1], but that does not mean that we have the right to insult, to judge others' mistakes, we do not have to cross the line because there is an existing law about slander and libel where slander is the spoken defamation and libel is written defamation [2]. Cybercrime Prevention Law on Libel [3]

Remember: Ignorance of Law excuses no one.

So I figured, why do you think I used to wonder, admire that it seems to go along with society mockers. Are you with them too? Be careful.

Go Back to your First Love

Reminisce the past. Who we are before? I'm sure we were a very good student, generous friend and a loving child to our parents. That is the first characteristic of a child from the upbringing of parents.

If we remember, we used to like watching cartoon tv, but why now, some enjoyed watching their idols made up of so many versions and made fun of, on social media, are you among them making fun of the mistakes of others?

We used to love VCD about learning Phonetics, Mathematics, Science and English, but now you're watching vloggers' antics on youtube, making people's mistakes, funny, it's just normal to watch jokes. But there is a thin line between a good and a bad joke.

Why children idolized more about the Joker's Why so serious?
Joker Why so serious
Rather than Green Lantern's Lesson? Overcoming Fear.

There is a saying in Filipino

Ang mga tsismosa, hindi pa nila alam ang buong istorya, pero sa kanila may ending na.

Gossips are worst than thieves because they steal another person's dignity, honest reputation and credibility, which are challenging to restore.

Afraid to be the hot potato because of personal misery, they rather gossip someone to cover their own fear of controversy

Escape for a Moment and Kill Time

King Solomon once written ...there's a time to kill

So before you say bad words to others when you're angry, KILL YOUR TIME. Take a moment to think before you speak, some say it is also applicable in making promises when you're happy. KILL YOUR TIME and think, because when you do, you may prevent the worst result of your rush action.

Escape for a Moment: Search the Truth

Innocence and lies don't make a perfect match
Leave your door unlatched
I know a word could be untrue
And yet still move you

Does your idol being controlled by his superiors, suggest such an action and idea, since you idolize him too, you will be moved and follow such movements? Wait!

Lying cannot prove you as an innocent even inside your heart you know which is true but still you do what you intended to do.

Consider all news that you read elsewhere are fake unless you proved to yourself that its true, make a thorough research about the issue before you jump to a conclusion just because someone shared his/her opinion and gained million likes and shared in social media, don't be a fool. In the end it is easier to say you're innocent even you know that you lied.
