Flowers On Your Grave

Poem

Almost 12 years celebrating your day here in your grave,
Silence brings back memories,
Tears kept a long time continuously flowing,
I know that you're watching over me.

Your last breath into my arms,
Diabetes took your life from us.

Lessons that you've imparted,
Still lingers in my ears,
The day that I gave birth to your grand daughter,
I felt you were there and I knew then,
How it feels to become a mother.

Staring at your name,
Makes me feel proud that you mold me,
As my fingers run through the letters,
I couldn't stop my tears from flowing,
If you could only smell these,
Fresh flowers on your grave,
I love you mama.
